State Duma deputy Ivan Sukharev addressed the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova with a proposal to include the basics of programming, control and operation of drones in the school informatics course, transmits RT with a link to the corresponding letter. The parliamentarian noted that children should develop knowledge and skills that meet the challenges of the time.
“In this regard, I ask you to consider the feasibility of incorporating the fundamentals of programming, control and operation of drones into the school course of the subject of computer science,” the appeal says.
The deputy recalled that UAVs are used not only in the military-industrial complex, but also in aerial photography, patrolling, agriculture, geodetic surveys and tracking of various objects.
