Residents of the village of Kachuga of Belousovo in the Irkutsk region protect their historical heritage from geologists. Workers passed through Talma pisanitsy.
We are talking about Neolithic rock paintings on the banks of the Lena River. The historical heritage is already extremely unlucky: vandals painted them with paint, and poachers opened fire on them.
As the Telegram channel wrote Babr Mash Referring to the administration of the village, “Seismopoisk” paved the road by order of the “Irkutsk Oil Company”. Even the existence of undiscovered tombs nearby did not cease. Local residents stood up to preserve the heritage: set up stands, went on an expedition – checked for damage.
At the same time, there are enough problems in the village itself. Here the cell tower is closed, the only bridge across the Lena is being demolished under heavy equipment by geologists, and the police and ambulance take five hours due to the bumpy roads.
Formerly in the Krasnoyarsk Territory discovered 10 rock paintings from ancient times. This was done during the study of the petroglyphs of the Usinsk depression in Western Sayan. Pisanitsy in the Urals and Siberia are called monuments of rock art of an ancient person. As a scientific term, the term has been used since the 18th century and is sometimes applied to similar drawings in other regions. In Siberia, the term “pisanitsa” applies not only to rock paintings made with paint, but also to petroglyphs made using relief, carving, polishing, as well as other techniques.
