Department security in Russia allowed to shoot down drones

From March 30, department security workers will be able to shoot down drones if they see them as a threat to the protected object. It has been reported DEA News.

It was noted that the federal law “On Amending the Federal Law on Weapons” dated December 29, 2022 came into force. According to the document, department security is allowed to “suspend the presence of unmanned aerial vehicles in the airspace to repel an attack on protected objects, department security personnel, or persons in those objects.”

The law also states that it is possible to bring down drones with the help of technical suppression tools by influencing drone control panels.
