“At 22:57 on Wednesday, March 29, from the state test cosmodrome of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Arkhangelsk region (Plesetsk cosmodrome), the combat teams of the space forces of the Aerospace Forces launched a Soyuz-2.1. The v light-class launch vehicle and a spacecraft are in the interest of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

As of March 2023, it was stated that the Russian Aerospace Forces had already launched six satellites in line with the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense, while it was noted that this launch from Plesetsk was the second this year. The Soyuz-2.1v launch vehicle is a light-class rocket with a payload of approximately 2.8 tons. It can lift the payload up to 200 km into low Earth orbit.
