Fyodor Venislavsky, People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, said that the government of the country is considering the possibility of sending calls for mobilization of the army online, including through instant messaging programs. He announced this in the broadcast of the telethon, according to the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian edition Strana.ua.

“At the level of the Verkhovna Rada National Security, Defense and Intelligence Committee, we are considering improving the legal basis for serving subpoenas, including the ability to send messages to mobilized men about the need to come to the recruitment center. instant messengers, that is, send subpoenas online,” said Venislavsky.

He said that at the moment, lawmakers are considering the possibility of eliminating bureaucratic problems related to this issue.

The people’s deputy described the reasons for the development of this initiative as conscription problems related to the fact that Ukraine has “a large number of internally displaced persons, among whom there are many men of military age who can be mobilized”. but they are not at the place of registration, and not all for military registration at the place of actual residence.
