Preserving the current nature of power in both Russia and China is a guarantee that relations will be the same. advert orientalist Alexei Maslov.

“Many things depend personally on the leaders of Russia and China, and they communicate with each other closely, closely and most importantly very friendly,” said Maslov.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping have common ideas on what needs to be done.

“This of course brings them closer together, so the preservation of the current nature of power in both Russia and China is to some extent a guarantee that the relations will be at the same high level,” said Maslov.

“Xi Jinping’s visit shows that China is closer to Russia’s position than, for example, America’s position,” the expert said.

“China strongly condemns the aggressive blocs and condemns the expansion of blocs and interference in internal affairs. “I will not say that we have converged in all positions or that we have taken a common position, but of course we are moving in the same direction,” he said.

The orientalist emphasized that the pace of development of relations between China and Russia will likely continue in the next few years.

“We have now come a long way in terms of military-technical cooperation; significantly expands the gas interaction. President Putin has devoted a lot of time to humanitarian cooperation, which has always existed but never stood out,” the expert said.
