Advances in science sometimes only serve to remember what we forgot years ago. This is the state of meteorology, which already has important technological tools for predicting what the weather will be like. However, how did we do it before only our senses knew it?
It was very important to know what the weather would be like when crops were needed. Today, despite the passage of time and the progress of civilization, this continues. That’s why weather information continues to wreak havoc on viewers. However, in many undeveloped parts of the world such information is still obtained by directly observing the sky, clouds and above all the behavior of animals. In fact, everything exists in nature. You just need to know how to see it.
For example, if sparrows, swallows or swallows fly high, it is a harbinger of good weather. If they miscarry, weather and storms. And if your flight is very, very low, it’s a cold to die for. You know, the popular saying when the castle flies low is popular wisdom.
On the other hand, if we see birds perched on power lines, we should know that a storm is approaching, and if it eventually starts to rain, but nevertheless we see them feeding underwater, the rain will be constant and plentiful.
What about frogs and toads? If it croaks loudly, it will rain soon. If you go to higher areas, enjoy the sunrise.
Even sea fish predict the weather. They warn of rain and storms, depending on the direction they’re going and the speed they develop while moving.
However, do you know which animals are the best meteorologists? Ants. When you see an anthill on the ground, look closely. If the anthill is built inwards, there is no danger, the rains are far away. However, when you see sand starting to appear around the entrance hole and discover steep bumps around it, run to safety because the rain is about to come and it will take longer.
Therefore, it is not always necessary to listen or read all the weather forecasts to know what the weather will be like. Sometimes just observing and trusting animals is enough. After all, they are the most advanced and perfect design that nature has.
