“We have seen reports that Russia has made an announcement (on the deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus) … We have not seen any reason to change the readiness of our nuclear forces, nor any sign that Russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons.” says message.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the storage of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus will be completed by July 1.

Putin described this as a response to the supply of depleted uranium-containing shells to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
