“The state company Roscosmos and experts of the Russian Academy of Sciences are exploring the possibility of exploring Mars, including the possibility of attracting foreign partners, taking into account the ground created within the framework of the ExoMars project,” the message states.
Roscosmos said that although earth science lost the ExoMars-2022 mission, Russia did not give up on its plans to conquer the Red Planet. Also, the department said it was aware of ESA’s plans to independently ship the rover in 2028, two to four years after the ExoMars-2022 program envisioned.
