Weapons maker for Ukraine faced power outage due to TikTok

Norwegian weapons company Raufoss Nammo complained of a power outage due to the construction of the data center of the social network TikTok. These release reports VG.

It is reported that the enterprises of the Norwegian company are loaded with defense orders for NATO countries, and also supply missiles to Ukraine. The company’s workshops are located in the Rafoss business park on the shore of Lake Mjesa. On the other hand, the construction of a new TikTok data center is causing energy shortages in the arms industry.

At the same time, the Norwegian authorities announced the allocation of about 190 million dollars for the purchase of artillery ammunition.

As previously reported, the European Union can allocate up to 500 million euros to support ammunition manufacturers. The agency states that with this money, among other things, it is planned to increase the production of gunpowder. EU leaders may also discuss the allocation of another 3.5 billion euros for the European Peace Fund at the Brussels summit.

In addition, 17 EU member states and Norway signed Joint ammunition purchase project to send to Ukraine and restore their own stockpiles.
