Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu awarded the Order of Courage to the female soldiers at the Crimean naval base of the Black Sea Fleet, who repulsed the attack by unmanned aerial vehicles in Sevastopol.

The Minister thanked the soldiers who fulfilled their duties in an exemplary manner.

“You did what you had to do, did what the service ordered you to. They did not lose their heads, they showed resourcefulness, confidence and a degree of selflessness,” Shoigu said.

He expressed hope that Russian soldiers will continue to serve Russia and the Navy faithfully.
