Inside “Diary of a temporary love”, The French filmmaker (this time he is signing the script with Pierre Giraud) once again demonstrates his mastery of expressing the feeling of love, its contradictions and idiocy. He does this with unheard of spontaneity and grace, inviting us to get lost in the characters’ sometimes labyrinthine and trap-filled dialogues (imposed by the characters), but he doesn’t let words drown us.
For this he has the complicity of two great actors.
