An Australian man decided to save money at a masseur and went blind, writes LADBible.
Andy Wilson, 53, had suffered from back pain since childhood and sought help from various chiropractors, but had to refuse to continue treatment as it became too expensive for him as he got older. Instead, the man decided to independently repeat the actions of doctors at home, and this led to sad consequences.
As Andy bent his neck, he ruptured his artery, causing a stroke and causing three blood clots to form in his brain. Because of this, he could not move and temporarily lost his sight.
“I turned on the TV and suddenly all I could hear was a kind of digital hum. It was very strange,” Wilson remembers.
Uncle Craig Andy, 64, who was with him in the same house, called an ambulance for his nephew. When doctors arrived, they first thought that Wilson was suffering from alcohol and drug addiction, despite being an Australian teetotaler.
Thanks to the doctors, Andy got up and completely regained his sight. After the experience, the man stopped self-medication and encourages people to contact specialists if they have health problems.
