According to the press service of the Moscow Regional Administration, Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov visited the greenhouse complex on Sunday and checked how the project was implemented, which was signed between the regional government and Podmoskovye TC at the Sochi-2019 forum.
After the commissioning of the second phase in 2025, Voskresensk plans to grow about 27 thousand tons of vegetables – tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce – annually.
“Large plants are nothing new to us – large greenhouses are operating in Lukhovitsy, Kashira and other municipalities. But here for the first time we simultaneously introduce 35 hectares of protected area – this is a record for the Moscow region. And there is a desire to start designing the second phase. We support the growth desire of agribusiness and we try to support it in every aspect.”
TC “Podmoskovye” partially started its work last year. More than 5.1 thousand tons of vegetables were produced here in 2022, and more than 2,000 tons from the beginning of 2023.
“Greenhouses are equipped with additional lighting, curtain systems, energy saving and sun curtains. We have our own heating system: bottom heating, growing pipe, top heating and snow pipe. The recreation system makes it possible to automatically adjust the parameters according to the irrigation strategy. “Each plant receives its own nutrient solution in a dosed form,” said Svetlana Shishkina, chief agronomist of the Podmoskovye shopping center.
The company plans to establish a selection and seed breeding center in Ramenskoye in 2025. It will reduce import dependency on Dutch seeds.
