A previously convicted resident of the Olovyanninsky district is charged with the particularly brutal murder of two people, theft and illegal destruction and damage to property through arson.
The investigation believes that in the village of Olovyannaya, in early March 2022, a young man argued with an acquaintance, beat him and previously poured flammable liquid on him and set him on fire.
He got involved in a crime after using common alcohol in the bath. The accused who committed the murder left the scene, stealing about 60,000 rubles from the victim. Later, the fire he started was extinguished and the victim, who rescued from the fire, died in the hospital where he was taken the next day due to burns that were incompatible with life.
A day later, the murderer returned with his mother-in-law to the bathhouse, where he committed the crime. Together they stole a power tool from there, the cost of which is estimated at about 17 thousand rubles.
Two months after these events, the accused murdered his mother-in-law, who was his accomplice. He hit him in the neck with an axe. The injured woman died at the scene. Later, the killer detached the victim’s head from his body and buried it in his garden. He hid the woman’s body in a dumpster. Relatives thought the murdered person was missing.
In August 2022, the criminal was detained by police officers and RF IC investigators.
On March 23, it was learned that the criminal case against the murderer of two people was sent to the Trans-Baikal District Court.
