Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) began to use mobile electronic warfare stations (EW) in the direction of Donetsk to combat Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It was stated TASS Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic, retired Andrei Marochko, based on Russian intelligence data.
According to him, it was noted that “semi-artisanal electronic warfare stations” were used in the territory of the cities of Artemovsk (Ukrainian name Bakhmut) and Chasov Yar.
According to him, such complexes are installed on a car basis and have a short range, while their small power is compensated by the operational movement of our drones of the Russian forces into the coverage area.
Marochko also added that mobile electronic warfare teams have anti-drone weapons that the Ukrainian army uses with the stations.
