Russia and Myanmar have the potential to join forces in the fight against terrorism, extremism and cybercrime, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov said. The Minister of Legal Affairs announced this at a working meeting with the country’s Attorney General, Tida U. DEA News.
“I am confident that we have the potential to combine efforts in various fields, in particular cybercrime, terrorism, extremism, corruption, environmental crime, money laundering and other areas of work,” said the Prosecutor General of Russia.
Krasnov also invited the Attorney General of Myanmar and ministry employees to Russia for the Eastern Economic Forum to be held in Vladivostok to identify priority areas for interaction.
22 March Krasnov’s plane landed in Naypyidaw, the capital of Myanmar. A delegation was welcomed at the airport by Russian Ambassador Nikolai Listopadov, as well as by Zhuo Zhuo Nain, Director General of the Legal Counseling Department, and Swe Swe Aung, Director General of the Criminal Prosecution Department.
Kurmankul Zulushev, Former Prosecutor General of Russia and Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan signed A joint action plan that provides joint action against cybercrime, terrorism, extremism and corruption.
