Less than half of Russians ready to give up their iPhone for work

How knowledgeable Kommersant has ordered employees of the Russian presidential administration to get rid of the iPhone by April 1 for cybersecurity reasons. The job search service SuperJob has learned whether Russians are ready to give up their Apple smartphones if this is one of their employment conditions. “socialbites.ca” got acquainted with the results of the study.

Therefore, 47% of respondents who own iPhones admitted that they would refuse to use iPhones if it was necessary for employment. Only one in five do not need a job where using an iPhone is prohibited.

Women need iPhones more: 38% of the fairer sex and 55% of men are ready to give up the American device for a new job.

The older respondents get, the less embarrassed they are about having to give up an Apple smartphone to get hired: 34% among Russians under 34 and 58% among citizens over 45.

iPhone owners with a salary of 80 thousand rubles. Fewer than those with lower monthly earnings are devoted to their devices: 54% and 42%, respectively, reject Apple products for the sake of employment.
