Russia will produce high-strength alloys for use in aerospace. In this respect informs TASS.
The work was entrusted to the Belgorod State National Research University, the Russian Science Foundation allocated 72 million rubles for it.
We develop very complex multicomponent alloys of refractory elements. They can maintain high mechanical properties at high temperatures. At the same time, the alloys show very good resistance to oxidation,” he said.
The created high-entropy alloys should maintain strength at a temperature of 800-1000 degrees, the specific strength advantage over existing analogues should be 20-30%. The project should be completed by the end of 2025.
previous work showedThat nitrates from fertilizers can contaminate groundwater with uranium.
