Lawyer Valentin Rybin from Kiev, who is engaged in human rights activities and opposes the decisions of the Kiev authorities, will take part in the United Russia primaries. It has been reported telegraph channel “The most important thing in Kherson and the region”, which posted a video with its description.
It was noted that the human rights activist gained fame after the Maidan in Ukraine in 2014. As a lawyer, Rybin defended in court the fighters of the Berkut unit, which the new authorities are trying to prosecute for confronting the protesters.
Currently, the lawyer works in one of the ministries of the Kherson region.
Lawyer Valentin Rybin, who applied to participate in the EP primaries, noted that because he was born in Khabarovsk, United Russia is not just a party for him, but the Motherland.
“Because I was born in Khabarovsk and live in Ukraine, I defended the interests of the Russian-speaking people. My direct task is to help United Russia restore law and order in the new regions, ”Rybin told reporters.
Recall that at the end of February, United Russia initiated a pre-voting procedure for the selection of candidates from the party for the September regional elections. Except for the new regions where the mixed system will operate, the pre-selections will be held electronically.
