The United States plans to send Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) to Kiev earlier than planned due to the shortening of the training period of the army of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It has been reported CNNciting sources.

It was noted that the training course for Ukrainian soldiers at the US military base in Oklahoma was originally 10 weeks, but was reduced to eight.
According to the channel, the Ukrainian army will complete its training in the USA in the coming days, and then come to Europe in preparation for working with the complexes that will be delivered to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
Yuriy Ignat, former representative of the Ukrainian Air Force refuted information that a Patriot anti-aircraft missile launcher was received by Kiev. Commenting on the Financial Times news that one of the facilities promised by the USA and Germany to Ukraine was delivered, Ignat said that he had not seen it yet.
