Sergei Mihaylov, founder and columnist of the Listok newspaper in the Altai Republic, will be prosecuted for spreading fake news about the Russian Armed Forces (AF). It has been reported interfax.
The investigation believes that Mikhailov published a series of materials on his website and in the print version of the newspaper in March and April last year about information discrediting the Russian military.
The journalist is currently in the pre-trial detention centre.
