A 25-year-old Australian teacher seduced a teenager by playing Call of Duty with him. It has been reported daily mail.
On 21 March, a Melbourne resident appeared before a Victorian court. He pleaded guilty to inciting a child under the age of 16 to possess sexual behavior, abuse and child pornography. The woman who attended the trial via video link was very nervous as prosecutors read the details of her crime.
So it was learned that in 2021 she was teaching at a school in south-east Melbourne and confessed to a teenager that she wanted to “befriend him outside of school”. At that time, he was working in this educational institution for the second year.
The couple exchanged messages on social networks for several months. The teacher and his student played video games like Call of Duty together. It was reported that the girl confessed her love to the man in July of the same year. After that, she brought him to the football stadium, where she stated that she was ready to have sex with the boy.
“If we get caught, I will go to jail and lose my job,” said the teacher, fully aware of the consequences of his behavior.
But still the couple entered into a close relationship. In addition, the lovers exchanged messages of a sexual nature, until the teenager’s parents discovered the teacher’s intimate messages a few months after their relationship. At the trial, they stated that the crime had struck a blow to their family and deprived their son of a normal childhood.
During the trial, it was discovered that the girl had been diagnosed with major depressive disorder. According to the psychiatrist, it can affect the ability to make decisions. Also, due to psychological problems, the girl perceived the teenager as an equal, not taking into account the imbalance of power.
The former teacher was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison. Once released, the woman will have to comply with her lifetime obligations to report sex offenders.
