4 out of 10 Russians do not communicate with their colleagues only during working hours. At the same time, those who earn more pay more attention to communication with colleagues outside of work. This was demonstrated by a survey of the SuperJob service for finding high-paying jobs, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.
Thus, 4 out of 10 Russians (40%) also meet with their colleagues outside of work: Participants said they had done this before and continue to do so now. Two years ago, during the pandemic, fewer people had regular meetings with their colleagues. 2% of them started communicating with their colleagues outside the office only recently. Judging by the reviews, the most popular places for friendly gatherings of employees are cafes and restaurants.
The rate of those who say that they stopped meeting with their colleagues in their spare time is 31%. As a rule, the reasons for this are personal circumstances: the transition of education, the creation of a family, the birth of a child, the emergence of a side job, etc.
One in four (27%) never communicated with colleagues after work: Respondents describe their situation as a lack of time, a desire to differentiate between personal life and work, and a lack of warm relationships with colleagues.
The higher the income of the respondents, the more there are among whom communication with colleagues outside of work is part of everyday life: among Russians whose income is less than 50 thousand rubles. their number is 27%, then among those who earn more than 80 thousand rubles – 45%. Respondents over 45 report that they meet with colleagues more often than Russians under 34 (26% against 35%), but now stop meeting.
