A family of doctors in Blagoveshchensk began manufacturing plastic tourniquets at home using a 3D printer to stop bleeding, sending the first 150 items to a special military operations (SVO) site. This was reported by the press service of the Eastern Military District (VVO). TASS.

According to the father of the family, Dmitry, it takes about four hours and about 60 grams of special durable plastic to produce a turnstile set. They get public 3D models from the internet to create such bundles of wires on a 3D printer.

The press service of the BVO, the simplicity and thoughtfulness of the design of the device allows you to quickly apply it, if necessary, on the battlefield and do this faster than using a rubber hemostatic tourniquet, it can also be used without assistance.

Thanking the volunteers and wishing to improve the turnstile’s design to increase its reliability and ergonomics, Russian military personnel added that the first batch has already been tested.
