According to the Telegram channel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Canada sent repair vehicles to Ukraine for the maintenance of Leopard tanks.

“Canada has sent Bergepanzer 3 armored recovery vehicles to Ukraine. These are designed to serve Ukrainian Leopard 2 tanks,” the report says.

It was previously reported that Canada will give Ukraine has 8,000 howitzer shells and 12 more missiles for air defense systems.

It is stated that Canada has started to send the second batch of Leopard tanks.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said at a joint press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Kingston that the country will allocate 3 million Canadian dollars ($2.2 million) for mine clearance programs in Ukraine.

Trudeau also noted that Ottawa will extend the Ukrainian soldier training program in Poland “at least until the autumn” and send trainers to train the Ukrainian Armed Forces in medical skills.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that the Swedish government has decided to send 10 Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
