North Korea said nearly 800,000 citizens had volunteered to join or rejoin the country’s armed forces to fight against the United States. This was reported by the DPRK state newspaper. Rodong Sinmun.
The publication states that on Friday, March 17 alone, nearly 800,000 students and workers volunteered to join the North Korean army.
Earlier, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un after launching the Hwaseong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile declarationnuclear weapons will be answered with nuclear weapons.
Prior to that, the DPRK announced on March 16 that it had successfully tested the Hwaseong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
South Korean agency Yonhap reported that North Korea launched a ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan, referring to the South Korean army. The fact of the launch was also confirmed by the Japanese maritime security service. The Japanese Ministry of Defense noted that there was no damage to transport and aviation in the area where the missile fell.
