The working group on NEE issues is preparing a number of legislative initiatives. This was announced by the head of the group, secretary of the General Council of “United Russia” Andrey Turchak, at an off-site meeting at a military unit in the Krasnodar Territory. According to the party’s website, a report containing the initiatives will be sent to President Vladimir Putin on March 17.
“We are preparing a draft law on the termination of the obligation to lend money to the parents of those who died at the front. Now this is possible only if the joint borrower is a spouse or underage children. Another initiative in this area concerns the clarification of provisions for the repayment of military mortgages in the event of the death of a combatant. Again, our group receives a large number of requests in this regard”.
The working group also identified another problem – when the family of an employee of the internal affairs agencies, who was registered for housing during his service and after retirement, was deprived of his right to housing in the event of his death in the Northern Military District.
Turçak said, “The draft law to solve this problem has been prepared and is in the final approval stage.”
To strengthen the protection of the right to work of SVO participants during their military service, the working group proposes to establish a legal procedure for terminating fixed-term employment contracts with them, similar to that applicable to pregnant women and women. decree.
“We also propose to establish additional allowances for the monetary allowance of conscripts serving in regions with maximum and average levels of intervention. We are talking about the front – Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk regions and a number of other regions. Let me remind you that we have already implemented a similar approach with regard to conscripts serving in the Chechen Republic,” Turchak added.
In addition, the report to be submitted to the president will include a proposal to designate July 1 as Veterans Day.
