The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation instructed the Prosecutor of the Moscow Region to check the reports of alleged violations of the rights of employees of the Wildberry market. This is stated in the statement of the press service of the apartment.
“The Moscow District Prosecutor’s Office will check the information about the violation of the right to work of employees of the Wildberries online store,” said the Prosecutor General’s Office.
During the audit, employees of the Moscow region prosecutor’s office will consider from a legal point of view the procedure for adopting local regulations that set controversial rules for recruiting workers, paying salaries and calculating fines.
Earlier, an RIA Novosti correspondent reported that owners and representatives of Wildberry collection points (PVZ) “encircled” the market place office in Moscow. The reason for the action was dissatisfaction with the new working conditions – in particular, the penalty for returning goods and the introduction of “collective liability”.
According to protesting workers, since March 3, Wildberry has been deducting money from the seller if they receive an unsuitable or defective product from the seller. They stressed that endless fines did not allow them to win. At the same time, the top management of the company ignores their demands and does not communicate. Owners of Wildberry order collection points have also announced a strike from March 14 due to the company’s new policy, the action will continue on March 15, as reported by the SHOT Telegram channel.
