Over 11,000 projects from NGOs entered the second competition for presidential grants

The acceptance of applications for the sixteenth competition of the Presidential grant fund has ended. Nearly 10,000 socially oriented non-profit organizations (NPOs) from different parts of the country presented their initiatives. More than 11 thousand projects were submitted to the competition in total. This was reported in the press service of the fund.

The organizers of the competition note that the most popular grants for project authors this time are the protection of the health of citizens, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, social services, social support, support for projects in the field of science. , education and enlightenment.

Most of the grants were requested by non-profit organizations in the group from 500 thousand to 3 million rubles. There are about half of such projects in this competition. Attempts up to 500 thousand rubles – about a third.

The joint expert committee will decide which applications will be subject to independent review. The meeting will take place at the end of March. The results of the competition will be collected in June. Supported projects will be able to start from 1 July.

The fund announced that more than 145,000 startups have been submitted since 2017. More than 26 thousand projects received support of more than 55 billion rubles.
