When Jerry Jure couldn’t get to his destination, his family started to sound the alarm and turned to rescuers for help. Searching for a man was complicated by weather conditions – a strong blizzard raged in the area. Six days later, aerial experts found a retiree’s car stuck in a snowdrift.

Fortunately, Jerry was alive, but obviously not dressed for the weather – he was wearing a light windbreaker. Jouret saved fuel by only starting the car when it was really cold. During this time, he ate the croissants and sweets he took with him and fed on snow to avoid dehydration.
Zhure was taken to the hospital, but later the doctors discharged the man home, as nothing threatening his life.
