Before the semi-final opening ceremony, the invited participants were subjected to a control test in the presence of experts. Participants who confirmed that they had independently completed the remote test advanced to the semi-finals.
Deputy Governor of the Zaporozhye region, Evgeny Balitsky, who was present at the ceremony, noted that the participants of the competition were tested in a difficult situation at a distant stage in the context of ongoing conflicts.
Acting Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that the semi-finalists form the basis of the future team for the revival of the Kherson region.
“You are the people on whom the future of the region directly depends. The subsequent face-to-face phases of the competition will allow you to combine your efforts, to form a well-coordinated team of like-minded people from you,” he said.
The Governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, spoke of the indifferent attitude of the residents of Rostov to what is happening in the new Russian territory, noting the great work of the local people in sending humanitarian aid to these regions.
Vladimir Gurba, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the Southern Federal District to the President of the Russian Federation, said in his speech that the Revival Leaders competition is part of a major effort to integrate the new regions into a single Russian space.
“All regions of the Southern Federal District, following the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, provide all necessary assistance in the implementation of a large-scale program for the restoration and development of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. For the successful implementation of this program, competent administrative personnel who can work with the Russian authorities in a single system should come to the provincial and municipal governments.
Recall that competitions under the general name “Revival Leaders”, based on the model of the competition of leaders of Russia “Leaders of Russia”, were launched last fall with the LDNR in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Their aim is to research, develop and support promising leaders who have leadership qualities, organizational skills and a desire to restore their territory.
