Almost every second Russian periodically talks to a car traveler. Analysts of the Rambler&Co media holding and SberAvto specialists came to such conclusions during a study on the Russian attitude towards sailors. More than 150,000 participants from all over the country participated.
It was noted that 85% of the respondents used a navigator: 38% of them start if they are driving on an unfamiliar route, 23% turn to the device for help every day, 16% turn it on if they are driving on a road. long journey and skip 8% traffic jam if necessary. Only 15% of respondents never use navigation systems.
At the same time, almost half of drivers only make the route in an unfamiliar place (45%). Others look for winding roads (8%) and also monitor speed limits and road cameras (7%). In addition, some respondents use a navigation device to look at traffic jams and then decide whether to drive or use public transport (5%).
The study also showed that Russian periodically speaks to a car navigator almost every second (49%). Thus, 23% of all drivers surveyed swear at the system if they make a mistake on the route or cause a traffic jam, 11% comment out loud about the proposed options, 10% discuss the traffic situation with the navigator, and 5% more than an assistant. try to play well and be happy when they come faster in your own way.
More than a third (37%) of drivers rely on their strength while driving and only occasionally glance at the screen. Every third (33%) follow the route closely. A quarter (25%) of respondents only rely on voice assistant and 5% trust front seat passenger for navigation.
At the same time, only 34% of respondents follow all the traveler’s instructions, while 49% prefer to double-check the route suggestion. 11% focus only on the end point and drive without the assistance of an assistant, and 6% drive in a different direction, completely ignoring the system.
