A British couple noticed that their house had turned into a giant beehive when honey started dripping from the walls. Mirror.
According to Kate Dempsey, she and her husband noticed several dark spots on the walls of their house. On further inspection it turned out to be honey. Surprised, the couple decided to dig a small hole in the ground – there they found two-meter pieces of honeycomb and liters of honey.
“We’ve never seen anything like this before,” Kate said.
The couple turned to specialists for help, but they put an unbearable bill on the family for their services. Then Kate and her husband turned to their friends for help tracking down the bees.
“It all started with a very hot summer last year. We noticed a black sticky substance dripping down our bedroom wall,” Dempsey recalls.
According to the couple, the bees didn’t bother them, so this discovery came as a complete surprise to them. In total, it took Kate and her husband about four weeks to extract all the honey.
“We did our best not to disturb the bees and kill them,” the British added.
