Kuleba describes a hypocritical refusal to let Zelensky speak at the Oscars
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called it an “example of hypocrisy” that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not invited to speak at the Oscar ceremony.
If you’re allowed to speak at the Oscars, you won’t find a better example of the hypocrisy of the film industry’s top executives and producers,” he told the European newspaper Bild am Sonntag on Sunday 2.
Stating that “the word ridiculous is not enough to describe this hypocrisy”, he stated that he did not question the quality of the film.
