The Ministry of Emergencies of Russia announced a large-scale Arctic expedition called “Safe Arctic – 2023” in March and April.DEA News.
“The Russian Emergencies Ministry is preparing a large-scale Arctic expedition. In March-April, the first scientific expedition in recent years will be held as part of the inter-departmental Safe Arctic 2023 exercise. It is planned that the 12-day expedition will exceed 1.6 thousand kilometers.
It was stated that the route will pass through the Komi Republic, Nenets and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs. The start is scheduled for March 26 – the expedition will start in Naryan-Mar and end on April 7 in Salekhard.
The expedition will be attended by regional emergency rescue units, as well as members of the Centrospas team and the Leader center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia.
Earlier, on the eve of March 8, employees of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia organized Festive action on the territory of the Okruzhnaya station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line of the Moscow metro.
