Almost 40% of the monthly precipitation fell on Moscow on March 12. It was stated TASS Roman Vilfand, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center. He added that heavy rain is not expected on 13 March.

“Of course the rain fell a lot. March is a very dry month in quotation marks because 39 millimeters falls on average in 31 days,” explained the expert.

On March 12, atmospheric pressure in the capital also dropped to 723.5 millimeters of mercury. This happens every 35 years.

“It turned out to be a memorable day,” Vilfand said.

On March 13, the expert predicted black ice and strong winds of up to 15 meters per second.

Former meteorologist Shuvalov estimated Moscow residents hot weather this week. But on Monday, Muscovites will still expect a light frost, but until Saturday all days will be warm. According to meteorology, 5-6 degrees above zero, southerly wind and even atmospheric pressure are expected.
