Major General Charles Collins said the British army had lost the ability to independently conduct combat operations. The post writes about it daily mail.

Britain’s role, according to the Major General, is to supplement the armed forces of other countries. If the United Kingdom had fought alone in Ukraine, London would have long since run out of equipment and ammunition.

“If we do not have military authority in all areas, it is not possible for us to set an example in NATO or in the international arena. Fighting proxy wars alone is a big risk. The proxies cannot belong to you, they have their own political goals and these do not necessarily coincide with those of the British military,” Collins shared.
