MEP Wallace points to NATO’s desire to expand rather than keep peace

Mick Wallace, a member of the European Parliament, said that the NATO leadership’s attempts to interfere in Ukraine’s internal affairs led to a conflict between the country and Russia.

The politician reminded that in the past the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union signed the so-called “Declaration of Cooperation”. However, as the parliamentarian pointed out, many of its provisions do not coincide with reality.

Meanwhile, Finnish Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen remembers declaring that the country was “at the finish line” in joining NATO. NSN.
