The scientific mentoring program will be launched in Russian universities in 2023. This was announced by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Head of the Government of Rosst.
He noted that there are currently 52,000 scientists under the age of 39 in Russia.

He noted that scientific associations and councils of young scientists will be involved in the development of the mentoring system.
According to Chernyshenko, in this way it will be possible to “train” a young scientist: from the applicant to the doctor of science.
The mentoring program will begin to be implemented at six universities: Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, PFUR, Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after MV Lomonosov, State Academic University for the Humanities, Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation and Petrozavodsk State University.
