The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) plans to request a court review of the decision of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on its inclusion in the list of foreign agents. This has been reported organization website.

By fulfilling its obligations, the World Wide Fund for Nature will continue to protect rare animal species and protect Russia’s nature. According to the Ministry of Justice, the World Wide Fund for Nature received funding from foreign sources and hindered industrial development under the guise of protecting nature, the environment and the biodiversity of species.
The ministry added that the fund sheds a negative light on the decisions and policies taken by state institutions.
