Ekaterina Kochetkova, spokesperson for the Dream Island theme park in Moscow, confirmed to socialbites.ca media information that a park visitor died in one of the toys. According to her, the park doctor on duty helped the woman before the ambulance arrived.
“We confirm the accident. Specialized services work in the field, all operations are carried out in accordance with the job descriptions of the personnel, safety and security requirements. Before the ambulance arrived, the doctor in the park intervened in the visitor. We offer our condolences to the family regarding the incident!” said.
Kochetkova added that the cause of death of the visitor could be her health condition. According to the park spokesperson, the ride was working perfectly.
“According to the preliminary data of the ambulance team that came to the scene, the health condition of the visitor caused the incident. The event has nothing to do with amusement park activities. The attraction is fully operational, properly certified and registered with the government in accordance with applicable law,” explained Kochetkova.
