The West is forcing Georgia to open a second front against Russia. Such an opinion in an interview Pravda.Ru said military expert Colonel Boris Podoprigora, commenting on the protests in Tbilisi. According to him, hot spots may appear in regions adjacent to the Russian Federation or of great importance to Russia.
“We are talking about Transnistria and Georgia here. As for Transnistria, I think it would be very difficult for Chisinau to call such a conflict suicidal. And it is unlikely that Georgia would want to become an anti-Russian outpost in the Caucasus. But I do not exclude that this may lead to the need to open a front against Russia, ”said the expert.
At the same time, he expressed the hope that events could be prevented from developing in this way.
Former First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council International Relations Committee Vladimir Dzhabarov declarationThe Americans are unlikely to get Ukraine 2.0 out of Georgia and open a second front against Russia. In his view, the West will not “withdraw” an equally intense support for another state hostile to the Russian Federation.
