Poll: Most Russians enjoy working under the leadership of female leaders

Almost 40% of Russians work under the guidance of women and 81% are satisfied with this situation. This is “HR Lab. – HR Innovation Lab” and “Health Academy” platform for AlfaStrakhovanie Analytical Center, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.

Respondents represent a range of fields – education (22%), healthcare (14%), small business (11%), public administration (11%), sales (10%). Participants also work in the service sector, delivery of goods, fast food chains.

First of all, 66% of the respondents stated that they treat their superiors with respect and admiration. They trust both as a boss and as a person – 22%. Only 3% are afraid. The rest of the respondents also said that they did not experience any special feelings towards the leader, other than the need to work only under his supervision.

62% said that their manager knows everything about the team and communicates with all employees. 12% said they sat in an open room with the director who got the team moving. 7% noted that the manager was rarely present in the office and relayed current issues to the agents, which sometimes hurt the business and slowed down many processes.

81% of respondents call female managers understanding. People have written that he gives permission for processing when needed, always communicates directly, and is open to discussions about business processes. 8% wrote that the boss is “strict but fair” – always ready to listen to explanations of certain processes, while making no special concessions. But there were few negative responses—0.7% described their boss as angry and hysterical as well as greedy.
