Equipment to be procured includes man-portable anti-tank missiles, anti-drone systems and air defense systems.
Anand said Canada is poised to increase its presence in Latvia, where it has the largest foreign military presence, and that “these new capabilities will further enhance the security of Canadian-led allied forces on NATO’s eastern flank.”
