Travel planning service OneTwoTrip told which cities Russians spend their International Women’s Day traveling to. “socialbites.ca” got acquainted with the results of the study.
Thus, Moscow became the most popular Russian city: the capital accounts for 24.3% of hotel bookings, and four-star hotels are in greatest demand. The second place is St. Petersburg, where 15.9% of travelers go. Petersburg and Sochi, where 7.9% of service customers met on 8 March. In both cities, three-star hotels are mostly preferred.
Many tourists decided to vacation in Esto-Sadok: its share is 4.7%. Most holidaymakers prefer four-star hotels. These were followed by Kazan (3.6%) and Kaliningrad (2.5%), where four- and three-star hotels were the most popular.
In addition, Yekaterinburg (2.0%) and Irkutsk (1.9%), Novosibirsk (1.7%) and Krasnodar, where Russians prefer to stay without a star, were also included in the list. Three-star hotels are chosen for holidays in Novosibirsk, and four-star hotels are chosen in Krasnodar.
Among foreign cities, Istanbul was in high demand: it became the leader among foreign cities with an 11.7% share of accommodation reservations. Four-star hotels are popular here.
Dubai took the second place in the ranking with 6.1%. The line below is Bangkok with a share of 3.9%. Also, Yerevan (3.7% share) and several European destinations are popular among Russians: Paris (2.3%), Minsk (2.0%), Barcelona (1.8%) and Milan (1%). 7).
