A furnace in Ontario was damaged after a woman slammed into its glass. After the accident, she went to a beauty salon located nearby. reported by CTV News.
The bakery owner said the incident occurred on the morning of Friday, March 3.
CCTV footage shows the jeep driving into the front of the shop window, breaking the glass and carrying the cake boxes deeper into the oven. Since the institution opened at 11:00 in the morning, it is known that there was no one in the institution at the time of the accident.
The owner of the bakery, who learned the incident from his mother’s words, went to the scene.
When he got to the ground, he turned off the alarm and found the front door was sealed.
Later, a nearby nail salon contacted the owner’s sister and informed her that the woman who had slammed into the window was in for a manicure.
“He usually crashed into the shop and while she was doing her manicure, her husband came and picked up the car,” the baker said.
He also said that he did not expect an apology, but that the situation was very important to him. Because it is his bread and oil.
The builders who repaired the damage said they would have to demolish everything as the showcase suffered severe structural damage, so patches alone would not be enough.
Currently the facade of the furnace is tingling with wooden planks.
On March 6, the car owner’s sister admitted that they were still unable to get inside to enforce the conditions set by the insurance company.
“Now my shop just stands out and looks like a closed business forever,” he said.
He promised that the institution would reopen as soon as all the windows inside the facility were removed.
That same day, a regional police spokesperson said authorities could confirm the collision, but declined to provide further details about the incident as it was considered a minor incident with no loss of life, no charge and no evidence of guilt.
