Czech Ministry of Defense, Prague ready Their purchase from Switzerland to receive the Leopard 2 tanks as a gift was not discussed.

According to the Ministry, this issue was not discussed, but if Switzerland decides to give the tanks in gratitude for the help of the Czech Republic to Kiev, they are ready to accept them.

Former Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala declarationthat the country’s government transferred military aid worth 10 billion crowns (approximately $455 million) to Ukraine.

He also added that the defense organizations of the Czech Republic have sent weapons to Ukraine for 30 billion crowns (about $1.3 billion).

According to Fiala, the list of military aid to Ukraine includes 89 tanks, 39 howitzers and 226 armored vehicles.

Czech Deputy Defense Minister Daniel Blazhkovets said that the country will begin production of mobile air defense systems for Ukraine. According to Blazhkovets, it is planned to create hundreds of modified Toyota all-terrain vehicles equipped with a pair of rapid-fire machine guns.
