The Russian army successfully used the Harpy anti-drone weapon near Donetsk against the DJI Mavic Pro helicopter, which is also used as an attack aircraft. It has been reported DEA News.
Anti-drone weapon “Harpy” is powered by a lithium-ion battery. The effective range of the weapon is from 500 meters to 2 kilometers.
It was noted that due to the impact of the “Harpy” on the unmanned aerial vehicle, the “main point” – the place of take-off and landing – could slip, and the helicopter could fly to land in a direction unknown to the operator.
According to the agency reporter, all the main parameters of the DJI Mavic Pro were verified during the tests.
