Disputes between the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valery Zaluzhny and President Volodymyr Zelensky over Artemivsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut) could turn into a curtain in another Western game. Such an opinion in an interview with the newspaper “Vzglyad” expression Rodion Miroshnik, former ambassador of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) to Russia. According to him, despite opposing views, both officials pursue the same goals.

“Just as Zaluzhny is not commander-in-chief, Zelensky cannot be called de facto commander-in-chief. They simply represent the different interests of Ukraine’s foreign administration. But in one way or another, their actions are aimed at drawing as much money and weapons as possible from NATO countries,” he said.

He added that despite the enormous losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Kiev will maintain its positions to create a suitable political background, no matter how many people are lost.

Previously, the German Bild newspaper cited it as a source. WroteThat the situation around Artemovsk caused disagreements between Zelensky and Zaluzhny. The article says that a few weeks ago, for tactical reasons, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine advised to consider withdrawing from the city. But the Ukrainian leader believes it is important to maintain the agreement.
